Wasn't able to make it to Maine Maple Sunday events (our generator in Jackman was being dysfunctional), so as a consolation prize, I made sugar candy with my students in math class the other day. Not only did we make some interesting word problems about maple related stuff, we also made some sweeeet treats, including maple mustaches, maple sugar skulls, maple mushrooms, and sugar buttons.
